Yemen client repeated order
In the equipment business, there is no greater compliment than a repeat order. It means the first batch worked. It means the service was responsive. It means the equipment survived real-world conditions and kept earning its keep. That is exactly what happened with our customer in Yemen.
We have now completed manufacturing of these three units. They are fully tested, carefully packaged, and ready for shipment. This order is not just about steel and hydraulics. It is about trust that we have earned through consistent quality and attention to the small things.

The Little Things with detail care
One of the reasons customer kept coming back is something you might not notice at first glance: the control box. Every remote control grab has an electrical control enclosure that houses the receiver, contactors, and terminals. When during shipment, moisture is a constant enemy. Salt-laden air, rain, can penetrate a poorly sealed box, causing corrosion and erratic operation.
How protects brain of the grab?
For these three grabs, we paid special attention to the control box. The enclosure is made of heavy-gauge steel with a gasketed, screw-down lid. All cable entries use compression glands that seal tightly around the wires.

Paint Quality
The second detail that earned this customer’s trust is the paint. Many manufacturers treat paint as an afterthought—a quick spray to make the equipment look good for delivery photos. GBM treats paint as a critical protective layer. Without good paint, steel rusts. Rust weakens structure, clogs moving parts, and shortens equipment life dramatically.
Our painting process
For these grabs, we followed a strict multi-step painting process. First, the steel surfaces were abrasive-blasted to a near-white finish, removing all mill scale and rust. Then we applied a high-build epoxy primer, followed by an intermediate coat, and finally a polyurethane topcoat. Each layer was applied at controlled thicknesses. We measured the dry film thickness at multiple points on every shell. The target was a total system thickness well above industry minimums.
Color and durability
The customer requested a specific color for easy identification in their terminal. We matched it exactly. The topcoat is UV-resistant, so the color will stay vivid even under the strong Middle Eastern sun. It is also flexible enough to resist chipping from impacts with bulk material. When these grabs arrive in Yemen, they will look as good as they perform—and they will stay that way for years.
A Partner Who Pays Attention
The repeat order is not just about the grab itself. It is about the way GBM approaches every project. We listen. We ask questions about the operating environment, the crane type, the typical material, and even the maintenance skills available on site. Then we adapt our design and our packaging accordingly.

Consistent manufacturing quality
We tested each one’s opening and closing cycles, checked the radio range, and verified the hydraulic pressure settings. We sent the customer videos of the tests, so they could see their grabs working before they left our factory.
Responsive communication
Throughout the order, we kept the customer informed. They knew when the steel arrived, when the machining was done, when the painting was scheduled, and when the testing was complete. No surprises, no delays. That level of transparency builds confidence.
Manufacture Capability and Genuine Care
The completion of these three remote control grabs is a milestone, but it is also business as usual for GBM. We have the manufacturing capacity to produce multiple grabs simultaneously, from 2 cubic meters to over 20. We have the engineering expertise to customize every detail, from shell shape to control frequency.
And we have the quality mindset that pays attention to control box sealing and paint thickness—the things that make equipment last.
